【アートホテル】Node Hotel（京都）に泊まってみた。

Node Hotel

京都四条烏丸エリアに位置する「Node Hotel（ノードホテル）」に宿泊しました。

Node Hotelは、非日常の贅沢ではなく、暮らしの中でアートを身近に感じられるアートコレクターの住まいのようなホテルを、理想の暮らしを体験する場所として作られました。

宿泊者が最初に立つ1階フロアには様々なアート作品が展示されています。

部屋

室内はやや暗めで、少し不自由を感じることもありました。
テレビは無く、落ち着いた雰囲気で快適に過ごせました。とても寝心地の良いベッドでした。

なお、各部屋に飾られているアート作品を含んだリストの閲覧が可能です（フロントで貸し出し）。また、展示作品は、貸し出しや出資ファンドで共同保有するなどされているため、購入は出来ません。

Node Hotel

We stayed at Node Hotel, in the Shijo-Karasuma area of Kyoto.

Node Hotel was designed not as a place of extraordinary luxury, but as a place to experience an ideal way of living — a home-like hotel modeled on the residence of an art collector, where art feels close to everyday life.

Artworks

The first-floor lobby, where every guest arrives, is filled with a wide range of artworks.

The first-floor space doubles as restaurant, cafe, and bar.

Room

A photobook by Jurgen Axelvall had been placed in the room.

The interior is on the dim side, which occasionally felt slightly inconvenient.
There is no television; the calm atmosphere made for a very comfortable stay, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable to sleep in.

A list of the artworks displayed in each room is available for viewing (lent out at the front desk). The works on display are, however, on loan or held in joint ownership through investment funds, and are not available for purchase.
