3 is a Magic Number three is a magic number 14
We visited the solo exhibition “3 is a Magic Number three is a magic number 14” by the artist collective “three,” made up of three artists (Hiroki Kawasaki, Shuhei Sasaki, and Kitaro Koide) all born in Fukushima Prefecture in 1986.
The venue was the Takasaki City Museum of Art. It is a conveniently located museum, easily reached on foot from Takasaki Station.

1st Floor
Once you purchase a ticket and enter, there is an entrance where you pass through a curtain made of vinyl packages containing the exhibition flyers. Visitors can tear off one from the bottom in sequence, so each person can take one home.
The entrance designed with a curtain-like row of connected cardsAfter passing through, you find an installation hanging down from the open ceiling.Look closely and you’ll see fish-shaped soy sauce bottles filled with colorful liquids.
2nd Floor
Going up the stairs, the 2nd floor space presents an installation of “Daruma” dolls, which are also designated as a traditional craft of the host city of Takasaki.
The Daruma dolls covering the floor are a collaborative work between three and the Takasaki Daruma craftsmen.
This is a participatory exhibition where visitors can paint in one eye of a Daruma doll and write their own name on it (one per person).
After the exhibition, they will also perform a ritual burningWrite on the Daruma in the spot of your choice while imagining each wish.
Another participatory project uses the fish-shaped soy sauce bottles that also appear in the installation.
The prepared “fish-shaped soy sauce bottles”Fill it yourself with the liquid color of your choice.There were 24 colors to choose from, making the decision difficult.You can insert the soy sauce bottle directly in the exhibition room and take part in the installation.Place it in the position you like.Letters, marks, and other individual expressions…The installation as seen from the staircase. You can also enjoy the changing shadows cast on the floor.
3rd Floor
The exhibition room on the 3rd floor presents a series of works using character figures.

我们参观了艺术家团体”three”的个展”3是魔法数字 three is a magic number 14″。该团体由三位1986年出生于福岛县的艺术家（Hiroki Kawasaki、Shuhei Sasaki、Kitaro Koide）组成。
展览地点为Takasaki City Museum of Art。这是一座交通便利的美术馆，从高崎站步行即可到达。

1986년 후쿠시마현 출생의 세 사람(Hiroki Kawasaki, Shuhei Sasaki, Kitaro Koide)으로 구성된 아티스트 그룹 “three”의 개인전 “3은 마법의 숫자 three is a magic number 14″를 관람하였습니다.
전시장은 Takasaki City Museum of Art입니다. 다카사키역에서 도보로 바로 갈 수 있는, 접근성 좋은 미술관입니다.

1층
티켓을 구입해 입장하면, 본 전시의 전단지가 들어 있는 비닐 패키지로 만든 커튼을 지나가는 입구가 있습니다. 관람객은 아래에서부터 순서대로 잘라내어, 한 사람당 한 장씩 가져갈 수 있게 되어 있습니다.
연결된 카드가 커튼처럼 설계된 입장구지나가면 뚫린 천장에서 매달려 있는 설치작품이 나타납니다.자세히 보면 물고기 모양 간장병에 다채로운 색의 액체가 들어 있었습니다.
2층
계단을 올라간 2층 공간은 개최지 다카사키가 자랑하는 전통공예품으로도 지정된 “다루마” 설치작품입니다.
바닥에 가득 깔린 다루마는 three와 다카사키 다루마 장인의 협업 작품입니다.
관람객 참여형 전시 기획으로, 다루마에 한쪽 눈과 자신의 이름을 쓸 수 있습니다(1인 1개).
전시 종료 후에는 소각 의식도 진행됩니다마음에 드는 자리의 다루마에 각자의 소원을 떠올리며 써 나갑니다.
또 하나의 참여형 기획은, 설치작품에도 사용된 물고기 모양 간장병을 활용한 기획입니다.
준비된 “물고기 모양 간장병”좋아하는 색의 액체를 직접 넣습니다.준비된 색은 24가지로, 어떤 색을 쓸지 고민이 되었습니다.간장병을 전시실에 그대로 꽂아, 설치작품에 참여할 수 있습니다.원하는 위치에 꽂습니다.문자나 마크 등 저마다 다양하게…계단에서 보이는 설치작품. 바닥면에 드리워지는 그림자의 변화도 즐길 수 있습니다.
3층
3층 전시실은 캐릭터 피규어를 사용한 시리즈 작품의 전시입니다.
