“Roppongi Crossing” is a series of exhibitions that Mori Art Museum has held once every three years since 2004, offering a periodic overview of the contemporary Japanese art scene.
The sixth edition takes on a first-time challenge for the series: it is co-curated exclusively by three curators from Mori Art Museum (Reiko Tsubaki, Takuichi Tokuyama, and Haruko Kumakura), and features around 25 groups of Japanese artists, mainly those born in the 1970s and 80s.
The theme of this exhibition is organized into the following three sections.

However, as suggested by the subtitle “Connexions,” the exhibition is not divided by artist or by artwork into sections; instead, its layout is designed to organically connect each piece with the others.
At the entrance visitors are greeted by Takehiro Iikawa’s giant cat installation, which marks the start of the viewing experience.
For lovers of contemporary art, it is a mouthwatering line-up of currently active artists.

“Roppongi Crossing”是Mori Art Museum自2004年以来每三年举办一次、以定点观测的方式总览日本当代艺术现场的系列展。
本届为第6届，是本系列的首次尝试——由Mori Art Museum的三位策展人（Reiko Tsubaki、Takuichi Tokuyama、Haruko Kumakura）独立共同策展，介绍了以1970至80年代出生为主的约25组日本艺术家。
“Roppongi Crossing”은 Mori Art Museum이 2004년 이래 3년에 한 번씩 개최해 온, 일본 컨템퍼러리 아트 신을 정점 관측적으로 총람하는 시리즈 전시입니다.

다만, 부제 “Connexions(이어 보기)”에서 알 수 있듯이, 아티스트나 작품별로 섹션을 나누는 것이 아니라, 각각을 유기적으로 잇는 흐름을 의식한 전시 구성입니다.
입구에서는 Takehiro Iikawa 씨의 거대한 고양이 설치 작품이 관람객을 맞이하며 감상이 시작됩니다.
