We visited “MOT Collection Part 2: Welcome Back / Nice to Meet You,” the collection exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, which reopened at the end of March 2019 after renewal.
The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo currently holds approximately 5,400 works in its collection.
The collection spans a wide range of genres from modern to contemporary art, centering on postwar art, and the “MOT Collection” exhibitions showcase these holdings. The museum offers new perspectives on the same works by presenting them from various angles at each exhibition period, disseminating the diverse appeal of contemporary art.
This exhibition builds on “MOT Collection: Welcome Back / Nice to Meet You,” which introduced works mainly created in the 2010s from approximately 400 pieces acquired during the closure period, with a partial rearrangement and the addition of three new artists. The title conveys the reunion with “welcomed back” restored works and the fresh encounter with “nice to meet you” new arrivals.

我们参观了于2019年3月末重新开馆的Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo（东京都现代美术馆）藏品展”MOT Collection 第2期 我回来了／初次见面”。
Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo目前收藏约5,400件作品。
藏品以战后美术为中心，涵盖从近代到当代的广泛门类，而”MOT Collection”展正是介绍这些馆藏作品的展览。即便是同一件作品，也能从崭新视角欣赏，每个展期均设置不同切入点展出作品，是一座传递当代艺术多元魅力的美术馆。
本次展览是在闭馆期间入藏的约400件作品中，主要展示2010年代创作作品的”MOT Collection 我回来了／初次见面”展的部分换展，并新增三位艺术家构成。展览标题寄托了修复完成”回归”作品与新藏品”初次见面”的双重相遇。

2019년 3월 말 리뉴얼된 Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo(도쿄도현대미술관)의 컬렉션전 “MOT Collection 제2기 다녀왔습니다／처음 뵙겠습니다”를 방문했습니다.
Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo에는 현재 약 5,400점의 작품이 소장되어 있습니다.
전후 미술을 중심으로 근대에서 현대에 이르는 폭넓은 장르에 걸쳐 있으며, 이러한 소장 작품을 소개하는 것이 “MOT Collection” 전시입니다. 같은 작품이라도 새로운 관점에서 감상할 수 있도록 회기마다 다양한 시각을 마련해 작품을 전시하며, 현대미술이 지닌 다양한 매력을 발신하는 미술관입니다.
본 전시는 휴관 중에 소장된 약 400점의 작품 중에서 주로 2010년대에 제작된 작품을 소개한 “MOT Collection 다녀왔습니다／처음 뵙겠습니다”를 일부 교체 전시하고, 새로 3명의 작가를 추가하여 구성되었습니다. 복원을 마친 “다녀왔습니다”의 작품, 신선한 “처음 뵙겠습니다”의 만남을 제목에 담은 전시회입니다.
