In the green space of Miyanoura Port, the gateway to Naoshima, stands 《Red Pumpkin》, a symbolic presence of Naoshima by the internationally renowned artist Yayoi Kusama.
Its interior is hollow, built so that people can go inside, and it’s also famous as a photo spot.

It’s housed in a special hard box.You pull the cord like a drawer to bring out the case inside.
It was in a urethane case.The work at Miyanoura Port has holes, but here the carving of the dots in the exact same places is made deeper.The black urethane case seems usable as a base too.
The bottom was credited with “NAOSHIMA.”
It’s also a good product as a memento of Naoshima sightseeing!
Produced under Yayoi Kusama’s complete supervision, it’s an item as close as possible to the work.
