Thinking I’d pick up an art-themed lucky bag for the new year, I headed to “NADiff a/p/a/r/t” in Ebisu.
NADiff opened for business on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at noon.

Now let’s open it up. The paper bag itself is a simple, thin brown thing, but the lucky bag has a solid, hefty weight to it.
The 3,000 yen price is tax-included. Cheap!
Before opening, since I had bought something at the store, I could also enter a lottery limited to 140 buyers, in which artists offered New Year’s greeting cards.
The plan was to receive a card from one of six artists: Sachiko Kazama, Fuminao Suenaga, Sho Tanaka, Motohiro Tomii, Koji Nakano, or Yuichi Yokoyama.
The artist this writer drew was sculptor Koji Nakano.

Now, the contents of the lucky bag itself:
1) Christo’s art book
An art book jointly credited to Christo and his wife Jeanne-Claude: “Christo and Jeanne-Claude: Water Projects (Pb).”
It sells for over 4,000 yen even on Amazon. This one item alone more than covers the price.
Encounters with artists one wouldn’t normally buy for oneself are one of the joys unique to lucky bags. I’d like to sit down and read through it slowly when I get the time.
Summary
So that’s everything included in the lucky bag.
Financially it’s clearly a great deal, but it also became one of my favorite lucky bags thanks to the encounters with artists I hadn’t known before.
Above all, 3,000 yen tax-included is just too cheap. Thank you very much.

그럼 개봉해 보겠습니다. 종이봉투는 간이한 갈색의 얇은 재질이지만, 무게는 묵직하고 알찬 후쿠부쿠로입니다.
3,000엔은 세금 포함 가격입니다. 저렴해요!
개봉하기 전, 매장에서 구입한 고객 한정 140장 이라는 조건으로, 아티스트로부터의 연하장을 받을 수 있는 추첨회에도 참여할 수 있었습니다.
Sachiko Kazama, Fuminao Suenaga, Sho Tanaka, Motohiro Tomii, Koji Nakano, Yuichi Yokoyama 이상 6명 중 한 명의 연하장을 받을 수 있는 기획입니다.
필자가 뽑은 아티스트는 조각가 Koji Nakano였습니다.

Amazon에서도 4,000엔 이상 하는 상품. 이 한 권으로 본전 이상 뽑는 셈입니다.
이렇게 스스로는 사지 않을 작가와의 만남 또한 후쿠부쿠로만의 즐거움입니다. 시간이 있을 때 천천히 읽어보고 싶습니다.

이상, 후쿠부쿠로에 담겨 있던 내용물을 모두 소개했습니다.
금액적으로 크게 이득임은 분명하지만, 몰랐던 아티스트와의 만남까지 포함되어 있어 무척 좋아하게 된 후쿠부쿠로였습니다.
무엇보다도 세금 포함 3,000엔은 너무 저렴합니다. 감사했습니다.
