Yoshitoshi Kanemaki
In this exhibition, prints by sculptor Yoshitoshi Kanemaki were on view and for sale.
The works use sheet-form lenticular lenses, so the image shifts depending on the viewing angle.

The prints make the most of the 360-degree quality of Kanemaki’s sculpture. The standard and special editions differ in subtle ways — the placement of the pedestal, the color of the shoes, and the tones of the face have all been slightly adjusted. The printing by Maru-Bi was excellent.
Inquiries have been flooding in: the first release has already sold out, and sales of this second release are also going strong.
