Designers and creators chasing the latest trends are among the exhibitors, and since visitors can speak directly with the makers themselves, it is an especially enjoyable event.

We happened upon her memorable Tokyo debut at this show.

Each piece had a different production process, so there was no getting tired of looking — I ended up staying a long time.Various types of works were on show — vases, small lidded boxes, plates, tea bowls, water pitchers, wall clocks and more.Depending on whether or not glaze had been applied, the tactile feel changes.Both are lovely to hold.
She kindly taught me many things — about how porcelain has a fine grain and smooth color pickup during overglaze painting; about semi-porcelain; about unglazed high-fired ware (yakishime); and so on.
Even the box that carried the pieces was carefully made.I bought a small bowl with a lid. I’m looking forward to using it as a container for something.
I was drawn to so many aspects of the work — the design, the tactile quality, the use of color — that I purchased a few pieces.
She has a young child, so her production pace may be slower for a while, but several upcoming projects seem already to be lined up. I look forward with great anticipation to her continued activity.

한눈에 팝적인 도자기가 눈부시게, 선명한 색채로 시야에 뛰어들어오는 것은 도예 작가 Moe Yamashita 씨의 작품입니다.
이번 출품이 도쿄 첫 상륙이라는, 뜻깊은 출품 기회를 만나게 되었습니다.
Moe Yamashita 씨의 작품은 몇 가지 특징이 두드러지며 독창적입니다.
무엇보다도 화려한 색채 — 소성 전 채색과 소성 후 채색 등 변화도 있음

제작 공정이 작품마다 달라, 아무리 봐도 질리지 않는 작품들 뿐이라 오래 머물러 버렸습니다⋯.꽃병, 뚜껑이 달린 작은 상자, 접시, 찻잔, 물주전자, 벽시계 등 다양한 종류의 작품이 출품되어 있었습니다.유약을 바른 것과 바르지 않은 것에 따라 촉감이 달라집니다.둘 다 손에 쥐고 있고 싶어지는 사랑스러움입니다.
자기는 결이 곱고 그림 그릴 때의 발색도 부드럽다, 반자기는…, 야키시메(yakishime)란…과 같이 여러 가지를 가르쳐 주셨습니다.
작품을 담아 온 상자마저 정성 들여 만들어져 있었습니다.뚜껑 달린 작은 그릇 하나를 구입했습니다. 무엇을 담아 볼지 정말 기대됩니다.
작품의 디자인과 촉감, 색 사용 등 여러 지점에서 흥미를 느껴, 몇 점을 구입했습니다.
어린 자녀가 있는 듯해 제작 작업은 다소 느린 페이스가 될지 모르지만, 앞으로의 일정도 몇 가지 정해져 있는 듯합니다. 앞으로의 활약을 크게 기대하고 있습니다.
