ガレも愛した－清朝皇帝のガラス
サントリー美術館で「ガレも愛した－清朝皇帝のガラス」展を鑑賞してきました。
清王朝の時代、飛躍的な発展を遂げた中国のガラス製造。
重厚で極めて優れた彫琢と、独特の色彩感覚がグッときます。200〜300年も前の作品とは思えぬクオリティです。
フランスの芸術家エミール・ガレ（1846-1904）の名前を借りる形で展覧会名に刻まれているのは、このカテゴリの展示は地味な印象を受けるからなのでしょうか。
自分の部屋に1個でも置いておきたいなぁ･･･と思いながら見ておりました。
Glass of the Qing Emperors, Loved by Gallé Too
I visited the exhibition “Glass of the Qing Emperors, Loved by Gallé Too” at the Suntory Museum of Art.
During the era of the Qing dynasty, Chinese glassmaking underwent dramatic development.
The weighty, superbly refined carving and the distinctive sense of color are truly striking. It is hard to believe these are works from 200 to 300 years ago—the quality is remarkable.
Perhaps the name of the French artist Émile Gallé (1846-1904) was borrowed for the exhibition title because shows in this category tend to give a rather understated impression.
I looked around thinking how I would love to have even just one of these in my own room.

在Suntory Museum of Art（三得利美术馆）观赏了”Glass of the Qing Emperors, Loved by Gallé Too”（加莱也钟爱——清朝皇帝的玻璃）展。
在清王朝时期，中国的玻璃制造实现了飞跃式的发展。
厚重而极为精湛的雕琢，加上独特的色彩感觉，令人心动。很难相信这些竟是距今两三百年前的作品，品质之高令人惊叹。
之所以借用法国艺术家Émile Gallé（1846-1904）之名刻入展览名称，或许是因为这一类别的展览往往给人略显朴素的印象吧。
我一边观赏，一边想着：真希望自己房间里能摆上哪怕一件这样的作品……

Suntory Museum of Art（산토리 미술관）에서 “Glass of the Qing Emperors, Loved by Gallé Too”（가레도 사랑한—청조 황제의 유리）전을 관람하고 왔습니다.
청 왕조 시대에 중국의 유리 제조는 비약적인 발전을 이루었습니다.
묵직하면서도 지극히 뛰어난 조탁, 그리고 독특한 색채 감각이 마음을 사로잡습니다. 200~300년이나 전의 작품이라고는 믿기 어려울 만큼 뛰어난 품질입니다.
프랑스 예술가 Émile Gallé（1846-1904）의 이름을 빌려 전시명에 새긴 것은, 이 분야의 전시가 다소 수수한 인상을 주기 때문일까요.
내 방에 단 하나라도 놓아 두고 싶다……고 생각하며 둘러보았습니다.
