On the Eve of a Breakthrough ～ The Next Generation of Artists ～
I visited the special exhibition “On the Eve of a Breakthrough ～ The Next Generation of Artists ～” being held at Bunkamura Gallery.
“On the Eve of a Breakthrough ～ The Next Generation of Artists ～” is a five-minute television program broadcast on BS Fuji every Tuesday from 21:55. Each week it introduces one artist who will carry the next generation, and to date that number has reached about 100.
This project presents, across two sessions, roughly 60-plus of the young artists featured on the program who are drawing attention both at home and abroad.
PartⅠ
This time I’m reporting on “PartⅠ,” the first session.
Atsushi Adachi works with paper. The battleship uses Japanese newspapers from 1945–1960, the car in the foreground uses the overseas magazine LIFE, and the spaceship on the right uses a copy of the book “A Trip to the Moon” as its material.In the foreground is a cloisonné work by Akiko Tsunenobu. Adorable little sushi.
The life-size “Person of the Empty Vessel” by Hideo Takashima, visible at the back, really makes an impact.

Hideo Takashima’s work is superb as ever.
I visited on February 7, 2018. Even though the run was already half over, sales weren’t all that brisk. Personally I have high hopes for the artists in the second session, so I’d like to report on it again.

我造访了正在 Bunkamura Gallery 举办的企划展「On the Eve of a Breakthrough ～ The Next Generation of Artists ～」。
「On the Eve of a Breakthrough ～ The Next Generation of Artists ～」是每周二21点55分起在 BS Fuji 播出的5分钟电视节目。每周介绍一位肩负次世代的艺术家，至今累计已达约100名。
本次企划从节目此前介绍过的年轻艺术家中，精选出在国内外备受瞩目的约60余名，分两个会期加以介绍。
PartⅠ
本次为大家报道第1期「PartⅠ」的现场情况。
Atsushi Adachi 的作品使用了纸张。战舰采用了1945～1960年的日本报纸，照片前方的汽车采用了海外杂志 LIFE，右手边的宇宙飞船则以「A Trip to the Moon」一书作为素材。照片前方是 Akiko Tsunenobu 的景泰蓝作品。是可爱的寿司。
后方可见的 Hideo Takashima 之作、等身大的「Person of the Empty Vessel」很有冲击力呢。

Bunkamura Gallery에서 열리고 있는 기획전「On the Eve of a Breakthrough ～ The Next Generation of Artists ～」에 다녀왔습니다.
「On the Eve of a Breakthrough ～ The Next Generation of Artists ～」는 매주 화요일 21시 55분부터 BS Fuji에서 방송 중인 5분짜리 TV 프로그램입니다. 차세대를 이끌어 갈 예술가들을 매주 한 명씩 소개하며, 그 수는 지금까지 약 100명에 이릅니다.
이번 기획은 그동안 프로그램에서 소개된 젊은 아티스트들 가운데 국내외에서 주목을 받는 약 60여 명을, 두 회기에 걸쳐 소개합니다.
PartⅠ
이번에는 제1기인「PartⅠ」의 모습을 리포트합니다.
Atsushi Adachi는 종이를 사용한 작품. 전함에는 1945～1960년의 일본 신문, 사진 앞쪽의 자동차에는 해외 잡지 LIFE, 오른쪽의 우주선에는 「A Trip to the Moon」 책이 소재로 사용되었습니다.사진 앞쪽은 Akiko Tsunenobu의 칠보 작품. 앙증맞은 초밥입니다.
안쪽에 보이는 Hideo Takashima 작, 등신대의 「Person of the Empty Vessel」은 임팩트가 있네요.

Hideo Takashima의 작품은 역시 훌륭합니다.
방문한 것은 2018년 2월 7일. 회기 중반임에도 불구하고 판매 상황은 그리 좋지 않았습니다. 개인적으로는 제2기 작가분들에게 기대하고 있어, 다시 리포트해 보고자 합니다.
奥に見える高嶋英男作、等身大の「空壺の人」はインパクトありますね。
宮岡貴泉の「ロック観音」
高嶋英男氏の作品はやっぱり素晴らしいです。
