THE CLUB is an art gallery located inside GINZA SIX.
As the second edition of “Opus,” a project that invites and supports young overseas curators, THE CLUB welcomed the internationally active independent curator Jasmine Wahi as guest curator for a group exhibition of women artists.
Eight women artists took part. Marilyn Minter, one of the leading American women artists — featured in the 2019 film “The Price of Everything” by an Academy Award-nominated director — and Pakistan-born young artist Hiba Schahbaz, whose work is collected by the singer Alicia Keys and her husband Swizz Beatz, were among the participants, with works by women artists spanning multiple generations on view.

跨越国家与世代汇聚而来的女性艺术家们，其作品各自散发着独有的光辉，蕴藏着内在的能量。

GINZA SIX에 자리 잡고 있는 아트 갤러리 “THE CLUB”.
해외의 젊은 큐레이터를 초청하여 활동을 지원하는 프로젝트 “Opus”의 두 번째 회차로, 세계적으로 활동하는 독립 큐레이터 Jasmine Wahi를 게스트로 맞아, 여성 아티스트들에 의한 그룹전이 개최되었습니다.
모인 여성 아티스트는 8명. 2019년에 공개된, 아카데미상 후보 감독의 영화 “The Price of Everything”에 출연한 미국을 대표하는 여성 아티스트, Marilyn Minter. 가수 Alicia Keys와 그녀의 남편 Swizz Beatz도 컬렉션하는, 파키스탄 출신의 젊은 여성 아티스트 Hiba Schahbaz 등, 세대를 뛰어넘은 여성 아티스트의 작품이 전시되었습니다.
