東京オペラシティが、国内の若手作家の紹介を行うシリーズとして展開している「project Ｎ」企画。
過去には平子雄一さんや今井麗さんなど起用され、若手作家の登竜門として知られる展覧会ですが、2022年最初の展覧会として水戸部七絵さんが登場しました。個展のタイトルは「I am not an object」です。
本展「I am a not Object」は、この細長いスペースに、これまでにない大きさの作品が数多く並ぶ展示空間が作られました。

“project N” is a series that Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery runs to introduce emerging Japanese artists.
Past participants have included Yuichi Hirako and Urara Imai, and the series is well known as a gateway exhibition for young artists. As the gallery’s first show of 2022, Nanae Mitobe stepped into the spotlight. The solo exhibition is titled “I am not an object.”

The venue is the “Corridor,” a long, narrow gallery on the floor above “Gallery 1 and 2” where the main exhibitions are held. *See the map below.
For this show “I am a not Object,” an unprecedented number of large-scale works were lined up in this long, narrow space, creating a striking exhibition environment.

The Corridor, filled with the thick scent of oil paint, was an incomparable exhibition space in which the energy pouring out of the works came surging through.

东京歌剧城(Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery)作为介绍国内年轻艺术家的系列企划推出的”project N”。
过往曾有 Yuichi Hirako 及 Urara Imai 等艺术家亮相,该系列作为年轻艺术家的登龙门而广为人知。作为2022年首个展览,Nanae Mitobe 登场。个展标题为”I am not an object”。

Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery가 국내 신진 작가를 소개하는 시리즈로 전개해 온 “project N” 기획.
과거에는 Yuichi Hirako나 Urara Imai 같은 작가가 기용되었으며, 젊은 작가의 등용문으로 알려진 전시다. 2022년의 첫 전시로 Nanae Mitobe가 등장했다. 개인전 제목은 “I am not an object”.

전시 장소는 기획전이 열리는 “Gallery 1, 2” 위층에 있는 “Corridor”라는 길쭉한 전시실이다. ※아래 참조.
본 전시 “I am a not Object”에서는 이 길쭉한 공간에, 지금껏 없던 규모의 작품들이 다수 늘어선 전시 공간이 만들어졌다.

짙은 유화 물감 향이 가득한 Corridor는, 작품에서 뿜어져 나오는 에너지가 세차게 밀려드는, 비할 데 없는 전시 공간이었다.
