[개인전] Koiichiro Tada "사랑, 그리움, 파르마콘" 롯폰기 힐스 A/D GALLERY

多田恋一朗「恋、焦がれ、パルマコン」

多田恋一朗さんの個展「恋、焦がれ、パルマコン」に伺いました。会場は六本木ヒルズ3階のA/Dギャラリーです。

A/Dギャラリーでの展示は、川田龍さんと安井鷹之介さんと一緒に企画された3人展「NEW EMOTION」以来です。

本展では、多田恋一朗さんの近作のうち《「君」について》、《「君」のいない海》、《「君」のいない空》シリーズを中心に構成されました。

少女の微妙な表情と海景、空景の作品は、鑑賞者それぞれの想いを引き出してくれているようでした。白、赤、青のコントラストが展示空間の中でそれぞれが機能し、生きていました。

展覧会ごとに感じるのは、展示空間へのこだわり、演出力が高い作家さんだということです。

Koiichiro Tada “Love, Longing, Pharmakon”

I visited Koiichiro Tada’s solo exhibition “Love, Longing, Pharmakon.” The venue is A/D GALLERY on the 3rd floor of Roppongi Hills.

This is Tada’s first show at A/D GALLERY since “NEW EMOTION,” the three-artist exhibition he co-organized with Ryu Kawada and Takanosuke Yasui.

The current exhibition centers on recent works from Koiichiro Tada’s series “About ‘You,'” “The Sea Without ‘You,'” and “The Sky Without ‘You.'”

The subtle expressions of the girls, paired with the sea- and sky-scapes, seemed to draw out the viewer’s own private feelings. The contrasts of white, red, and blue each performed their role within the exhibition space and felt distinctly alive.

What I sense in exhibition after exhibition is that Tada is an artist with an acute sensitivity to the exhibition space and a formidable gift for staging.
