Shohei Yamamoto received the Embassy of France in Japan Prize at “Art Award Tokyo Marunouchi” in 2019.
This exhibition is offered to him as part of the prize. The venue is the Institut français du Japon – Tokyo (Kagurazaka), a facility operating as a French cultural centre under the auspices of the French government.
Past recipients of the same award include Saki Murakami (2016), Shoichi Okumura (2017), and Mayuko Kose (2018).

作为附奖而提供的便是本次个展。会场为位于神乐坂的 Institut français du Japon – Tokyo，这里是由法国政府管理运营的法国文化中心。
