I stopped by a wonderful museum café.
It’s Cafe “Kōfū” on the 2nd floor of the Akita Museum of Art.

The Akita Museum of Art is about a 10-minute walk from Akita Station.
The area is lively, with souvenir shops, commercial facilities, and a tourist information center nearby.

The museum’s highlight, the “Tsuguharu Foujita mural gallery,” has its entrance on the 2nd floor. Admission is required to see the murals, but the museum shop is in a free area.
Climbing the triangular staircase, the 2nd floor is the café.
Going up to the 2nd floor, a space with a wonderful atmosphere spreads out.
“Kōfū”—a straight, single-row arrangement. Everything faces one direction.
When you sit down, the view spreading before you is superb. What do you think of this view!
You can look out over “Senshu Park” across the water garden. The large horizontal glass window is like the murals.
You order at the counter; I agonized between the cake set and the Japanese set.
The set of matcha and Japanese sweets also seemed nice, but I chose the cake set.
Here’s the menu. The recommendation is the cake set.
Before long it was brought to my seat. It comes with a wet towel and water too, which is nice.
